The work behind
the work.
I spend a lot of time on the things that are easy to scroll past. Here are a few of them: what I was trying to solve, why I built it that way, and what I’d still improve.

Giving the hero room to breathe.
I wanted the opening to feel alive, while still making it easy to understand who I am and what I do. I kept coming back to the spacing, device positions, and how much movement felt comfortable.

A familiar starting point.
A laptop, tablet, and phone make the idea of connected web experiences tangible. The screens show this portfolio, so the scene has a direct connection to the work around it.
Showing this portfolio on the screens gives the scene a reason to be here.
A decision from the actual build

Small details make it believable.
The phone and tablet have front and rear cameras, separate buttons, and charging ports. These are editable parts of the Blender model, so the detail survives when someone rotates the scene.
Connection without clutter.
Thin Iris and blue orbits connect the devices. The scene has a transparent background, allowing it to sit in the page instead of appearing inside a separate illustration box.
The part I’d keep working on.
Keep testing the scene on physical phones. A convincing desktop preview only tells part of the story, especially when three screens are playing video.
